Inter-University Workshop on Real Time Simulation held at CUET
An “Inter-University Workshop on PHIL and Real-Time Simulation” was held on Sunday in a joint venture between the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and Iconic Engineering Limited of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET). In the opening ceremony held at Academic Council Room of the university in thev morning, the Vice Chancellor of CUET Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam was present as the chief guest.
Pro-Vice Chancellor of CUET, Professor Dr. Jamal Uddin Ahmed was present as special guest. The guest of honor in the event was the Director of Planning and Development Department, Professor Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain. CEO of Iconic Engineering Limited Mr. Md. Mahamudur Rahman and MD of Opal-RT Mr. Mr. Girish Nanjundaya presented their articles in the program.
The event was presided over by the head of the department of EEE Professor Dr. Nur Mohammad while associate professor of EEE department Professor Dr. Mehdi Hasan Chowdhury moderated the event.
While speaking as the chief guest, Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam said, “We have to make our development sustainable and world class. Without research we cannot reach the desired goal. Our aim is to keep the research activities continuous and dynamic, so that we can make CUET a world-class university. Hon'ble Prime Minister has brought unique changes in the education sector like other sectors of the country and provided sufficient budget to CUET to advance our research activities. Through this kind of workshop, students will learn something new, which will make our research activities more dynamic and accelerated.”
